i have an old lamp with a built in transformer and two available wires. to my knowledge, the brown is live and the blue is neutral. i have a 100w screw in light bulb, and i would like to know to which parts of the light bulb should each of the wires connect.
any pictures will help
here is the light bulb
Your link leads to what looks like a standard 110 VAC bulb. I don't think you need a transformer for it. Was this lamp your trying to wire a fluorescent one? Or maybe it used a low voltage, high intensity bulb? Read the voltage rating on the top of the bulb you're going to use. If it says 110 VAC, you won't need the transformer. Well, unless your in Europe.
